About
I am currently a PhD student in the Computing Laboratory at the University of Kent in Canterbury, England.
My research involves the application of process-oriented programming to robotics using occam-pi - a language designed for concurrent and parallel programming. I am currently working on a visual programming tool to enhance introductory explorations of process-orientation by undergraduate students.
Outside of my research I work on a number of internet-based side projects, with a focus on development of database-backed web sites and application of search engine optimisation techniques.
